. A letter to prospective buyers regarding my new sales list: I have been devoted to the care of my family and this farm for many years. Our four children have left home, our little valley is rapidly changing and we’ll be moving on to smaller pastures some time soon. I am preparing for a new season in my life. I have been blessed beyond measure and it is time for me to give back. I plan to start a small business whose purpose is to support overseas missionary projects and help the less fortunate in our Portland area. I am offering some very fine horses for sale, otherwise “keepers,” so that I can free both my time and finances to work outside the home on this project. I have horses in my blood and the truth is that I gladly work day and night with them. However, I feel in my heart that the time has come for me to serve, hence the decision to sell some of my best without (much!) hesitation. My horses have had daily care and are in excellent conditioneven over condition as the grass grows greener by the day! I only ask that they be well kept by their new owners. I insist on certain minimum conditions for themnothing fancy, but safe stabling with turnout, good feed and fresh water, routine veterinary and farrier care. These are a must in a “horse-friendly” situation. Under these circumstances, I can offer terms and discounts to prospective owners. It is my hope that as I offer some of my best horses to you, you will be blessed. In return, I can be a blessing to others in my new endeavor. I want to thank the purchasers of these fine horses for their appreciation for the Polish Arabian and for the excellent homes they are providing for my "kids." I wish everyone the very best! |
