Highland Arabians has been home to numerous horses of Polish descent. We are primarily a breeding facility, featuring bloodstock from some of the finest sire and dam lines in the breed. We've always been inspired by the Poles and their breeding programs, and particularly the classic horses bred from the turn of the last century through the nineteen sixties and seventies.

The mares are our foundation—we have been blessed to obtain daughters of *Bask, Celebes, *El Paso, Banat, Arbil, Algomej, *Elef, Gwarny, Bask Clasix, Gdansk and Spark out of wonderful Polish matriarchs. Names such as Ellora, Etna, Eunice, *Canberra, *Boltonka, Zlota Iwa, *Elizaa, *Abhazia , *Daszenka, and Algonkina pepper our pedigrees.  We breed for their qualities: correct structure, Kuhailan type, and athletic ability.

At Highland Arabians, our mission is twofold: to preserve the blood and best attributes of the tried and true Polish horse of the past and to produce beautiful useful horses of the future.  Our ideal horse is capable of dressage, racing, reining, endurance or jumping-- in short, work-- and he is pleasing to the eye.  Our high caliber mares are capable of producing quality offspring for these purposes and we are committed to this task.

Visitors are welcome.  We frequently have horses for sale and are happy to talk about them.  We sell mostly young horses, ready to go on to successful careers with their new owners as sport, show, or breeding stock and always as pleasure animals.
